Tickets!!

Friday, February 29th, 2008

Hey hey!

TICKETS ON SALE AT LAST YEARS PRICES!

2000trees festival tickets will be on sale tomorrow (March 1st) from our tickets page. Hooray!

The really exciting part is that we’ll be selling a strictly limited number at last year’s price of £33 (full 2008 price £39). So be quick or you’ll miss out (they’ll be sold out within the first week)!

EARLY ENTRY PERMITS

If that’s not enough excitement, then you may like to know that we’ve extended the festival opening times…

500 V.I.P Early Entry Permits will also be on sale for £4 per person, allowing access to the festival site from 4pm on Thursday 10th July. Not only will this give you an extra night of festival fun, but you’ll also get the opportunity to enter an open mic competition to win yourself a slot on the festival bill! So why not come down early and have a celebratory pre-festival drink with the organisers and friends?

Finally, we’ve extended our opening hours for general admission tickets. The site will now open at 10.30am on Friday 11th July and the first bands will be on at midday. So you’ll get bands playing all day Friday and all day Saturday. And even the bar will be open later. More festival + more bands + more fun = Happy days!

COACH SERVICES.

To help make 2000trees more environmentally friendly, the good people at Festival Coaches will be providing a London to 2000trees return coach service and a shuttle bus from Cheltenham station. Click here for more details…..then leave your car at home, have a drink and get someone else to drive – perfect!

All very exciting stuff we think! See you in a field for a few pints of cider on

Thanks to everyone who entered our stage name competition. The winner is ‘Awesomebassman’ who has won a pair of tickets to 2000trees.

The main stage will now be named The TreeHouse and our acoustic(ish!) stage will be named The Leaf Lounge.

Bosh!!

Line-up Announcement

Friday, February 22nd, 2008

The news you’ve all been waiting for…..

We are extremely excited to announce that the main stage headliners for 2000trees 08 will be…..Art Brut (Saturday) and Reuben (Friday).

They will be joined by two very special guests (to be announced shortly) plus Frank Turner, Future of the Left, Imperial Leisure, The Anomalies, In Case of Fire, the King Blues, Ghost of a Thousand and many many more…

You won’t see a more eclectic line up between here and Antarctica! So unless you’re a penguin you need to bag yourself a ticket for 2000trees! And we are so excited about our headliners that we thought we’d brag a little bit about them so read on…

Reuben!!

2007 was an amazing year for Reuben; after glowing reviews in NME and Kerrang, the band went on to be given 3 singles of the week and the album of the week on Radio 1. They also headlined stages at Guilfest and Hyde Park, in addition to gracing the main stage at Donnington’s Download Festival. All of which makes us particularly chuffed that they’ll be playing the Friday night at 2000trees!

Art Brut!!

The only band we wanted to close the bill at 2000trees. We were blown away with Art Brut after seeing them walk on stage, (literally) tear up their set list and play requests all night long! Not only that, but their latest album (“It’s a bit complicated”) is quite frankly genius; with songs that are clever, rallying, and most importantly unashamedly pop. And there’s not a front-man in the country quite like Eddie Argos! Great.

Fancy having a listen to all our bands? Then see the line up page for links.

And don’t forget, tickets are on sale on Monday March 3rd – more details to follow.

Cheers
