Reasons to get to 2000trees early!
Friday, May 9th, 2008Hey hey!
Summer is here at last, so we thought we’d give you 4 reasons to get yourself along to 2000trees that little bit earlier this year.
1. FRANK TURNER TO OPEN 2000TREES ON FRIDAY.
2. FANCY DRESS FRIDAY.
3. THURSDAY OPEN MIC NIGHT.
4. THE LEGENDARY BADGERS BOTTOM CIDER IS BACK. WOOP!
FRANK TURNER TO OPEN 2000TREES ON FRIDAY!
Yes that right folks, you heard it here first! As well as his full band set as part of Saturdays main stage line up, you’ll get an intimate, midday acoustic set from the man himself in the Leaf Lounge. Happy Days!!
FANCY DRESS FRIDAY!
The theme for this years Fancy Dress Friday will be “Countries of the World”. So get your thinking caps on because the winner will be hauled onto the main stage to collect a very special mystery prize! Personally, we can’t agree on whether or not coming dressed as Kazakhstan gives us the right to walk around dressed in a Borat approved lime green “mankini”. Maybe next year…
THURSDAY OPEN MIC NIGHT!
Get yourself a 2000trees Early Entry Permit and not only will you have access to the beautiful Upcote Farm a whole day early, but by entering our open mic competition you can win yourself a slot on the festival bill the very next day!
BADGERS BOTTOM CIDER IS BACK!
Be the first to sample the return of the genius that is Badgers Bottom cider! But be careful, there is a fine line between genius and madness!!
If you are wondering what we are blathering on about then you really don’t know what you’re missing!
SITE OPENING TIMES!
The site will be open to Early Entry Permit holders from 4pm on Thursday 10th July. We’ve also extended our opening hours for general admission tickets, so feel free to arrive from 9.30am onwards on the Friday, cause the Bands and DJ’s will be hitting all 3 stages from midday!
If you haven’t got your ticket yet, then click here.
Hope you’re all as excited as we are!
Thanks for listening! Feel free to forward this to anyone who may be interested.
Besticles!
