THANKS & TICKETS ON SALE FOR NEXT YEAR!

Yo people!

Firstly a huge huge huge thanks for making 2000trees 09 so amazing for us six. There are too many highlights to mention here but in no particular order Jim Lockey, Crazy Arm, The King Blues, Danan and Imperial Leisure were all utterly amazing. And moshing to Hanson followed by Rage at the Headphone Disco really was a new one for us! Seeing you all sitting in the sun on Saturday was a pretty cool site too. Susie's burger van. Cotswold lager. John Barber skanking. Badgers Bottom. Captain Pugwash fancy dress. Awesome basically!

We'd love you to share your highlights with us so please go to the forum and let us know. Suggestions for next year would also be very welcome. And finally, if you've got any photo's to share with us then please stick em up on Facebook.

There are just a few other things to tell you....

Under starters orders!

Hello again!

Only 72hrs till 2000trees MKIII. Whooooooooooop!!

We've been busting our humps all year to make sure your favourite festival is bigger and better than last year, and we thought we'd get in touch one final time before the weekend arrives! Here are some random thoughts...

FANCY DRESS FRIDAY!

The theme for this year's Fancy dress is Cartoon characters. This is a competition people, and the best dressed will win wondrous prizes (i.e. beer). To enter the competition report to the bar (in costume) at anytime on Friday afternoon - the winners will be announced at 21.30 from the main stage (we'll do it properly this year we promise!)

TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE!

That's right folks, you can still get Weekend and Day Tickets. They will be on sale on-line until Thursday afternoon and after that available on the door.

BANDS!

The sixty or so bands playing this year are extremely varied, so why don't you spend the next few days listening to their songs on myspace and deciding which are the ones for you?! All the web links are on our line up page. There will also be a programme (on sale at the festival) packed with all the band related info you could ever need.

FINAL THINGS TO REMEMBER!

1. This year we will have cash machines, so worry not if you forget to stock up on dollars, pound or Euros.

2. Please remember that glass bottles / containers will not be allowed on site.

3. If you've got an Early Entry Permit we'll see you from 4pm on Thursday, if not then we'll see you from 9.30am on Friday - don't be late!

For those about to rock....we salute you!

Cheers

Two Thousand Trees Festival

11th & 12th July 2008

Wednesday 1st July 2009

Food (and drink) for thought!

How's it going fellow Heat Wavers?!

Here at Trees Towers we're getting pretty darn excited because it's less than two weeks till this years' 2000 "mutha-hugging" trees festival! Boo ya.

We thought you'd like to know what's in store for y'all down the farm, so read on to hear about some great changes to Trees this year...

We've got some quite frankly stunning food lined up including the best free range local meat, organic sausages, hand made pizzas, Welsh delicacies from Lechyd-da (pronounce that if you can) plus lots of gorgeous sweet stuff. Getting hungry yet?

As usual, our amazing bar staff will be serving icy cold beverages including Goffs Ales, Badgers Bottom Cider (watch out, that beast bites) and a new one for this year, locally produced Cotswold Lager, all served up in biodegradable cornstarch pint pots - "I am not a plastic cup" indeed!

We also have a new improved site layout to show you around, including enlarged camping areas and a monstrous new main stage which will blow you away! And on top of that we'll have 60+ mind-bendingly ace bands to help you get your groove on (check out new additions Slow Club who are replacing Blood Red Shoes), not to mention Headphone Disco, who promise us they is going to go hard!

If you're mental enough not to have bought your tickets then head over to our website and pick them up before someone else does (Weekend Tickets £47, Day Tickets £28).

Due to a slight increase in our capacity this year, both Weekend and Day tickets will be available on the door priced at £55 and £35 respectively...so it's cheaper to buy online now rather than wait!

See you in a field real soon.

Whoop!
