We thought we’d try to put your mind at rest and outline 2000trees’ thoughts in response to Covid-19. In short, we are 100% still going ahead!!!
Firstly some official advice from the Government…
‘The deputy chief medical officer has told the UK events industry there is currently ‘no clear rationale’ for shutting down events, with no ban on live events and other large-scale events planned in the immediate future.
THE SHOW MUST GO ON…
We understand you may be worried, but 2000trees is still going ahead!
And don’t forget it’s still 4 months to go until we open the doors at the beautiful Upcote Farm, so there is absolutely no need for anyone to be worried.
Not only that, we’ve spent the last few weeks confirming two mega Californian bands to headline the festival and we can let you know who they are on March 25th.
We’ll be announcing 17 bands in total and honestly some of them will blow your minds! We think you’ll agree it’s the biggest and best line up we’ve ever had at 2000trees, so watch this space in two weeks’ time.
SUPPORT INDEPENDENT BUSINESSES
The whole music industry needs your support at this time. So please consider buying a band T-shirt, some vinyl, a gig ticket or even… a festival ticket?
Behind the scenes, our team is working harder than ever to make 2020 the best 2000trees yet and we promise you that not one of the 140 bands playing have expressed even the slightest doubt they’ll be rocking up to Upcote Farm in July and erm… rocking. We’ll definitely be there and we hope you will be too.
So as a thank you for buying your tickets, we’re giving away 5 x £50 beer vouchers to spend at the festival bars if you buy your ticket before the end of the month*. 🎉🍺🍺🍺
In the unlikely event that the government does put a temporary ban on events (that somehow lasted for 4 months), we would obviously refund your ticket money!
So rest assured, we’ll see you for the 14th edition of 2000trees in July – we promise it’s gonna rock your world. 🤘
