HAWXX are a shapeshifting, punk infused alt-metal band made up of Anna (lead vocals/ guitar), Hannah (guitar / backing vocals), Jess (drums/ backing vocals) and Julia (bass/ backing vocals). We are based in London
but hailing from Greece, Wales, England and Italy.
This band is our chaos and our catharsis. We write songs about oppressive beauty standards, mental health struggles, violence against women, the unfolding ecological catastrophe and being a sensitive lil soul but also a norty gremlin.
We are a feminist band and it is our aim to be part of changing the landscape of the rock and metal world and for our gigs to be a cathartic experience of love and rage, holding women and queer people at the
center.
OUR STORY
2000trees was created in 2007 by music festival veterans after attending all the main industry events over a decade. Starting with a simple passion for music and the desire to create a dynamic, energetic and accessible event that put the festival-goer at the top of their priorities.
